Huntsville

Huntsville, nicknamed “Rocket City” due to its association with the NASA’s moonshot program, is a small city of about 130,000 people located in northern Alabama. It borders the Redstone Arsenal, a sizable military base, ordnance depot, chemical manufacturing site, and rocketry research facility operated by the Department of Defense. About 120 former Nazi scientists, among them Wernher von Braun, were relocated to Redstone during Operation PAPERCLIP. Operation ALLOCHTHON is being run out of Redstone.
